Barry seal flew guns to Cuba for the cia when he was 15 years old. Allegedly the song "secret agent man" was written about him by his friend.

Good show, thank you.
I like your content!
Awesome video Mr. Tom. Really detailed analysis of Cinematography. Thank you. I would really like to watch detailed analysis of Birdman.
Don't forget that cinematography relies heavily on the color palette as well. David Fincher is one of the best practitioners of creating a tone and a beautiful shot as a result of color composition.

I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Love this cool breakdown. Please do more! 😀
22:16 The camera underneath the plane looks too small to be the Alexa Mini, it looks about the same size as the BMCC, not sure why they wouldn't just use a mini though.
Love all your stuff. Thanks for this

One issue I have with this analysis, is that we're obviously looking at the color-graded final product. It's hard to narrate the details of the cinematography when you can't see what the original source material looked like. Is there any way to provide better true context?
It seems impossible to tell what was actual cinematography and what was post-processing…
It would be really cool to make some cinematography breakdowns on old music videos in different eras.
One of your most interesting and inspiring videos. Thanks. Do more of this. Cheers from Canada.
Interesting stuff! I would love to see something like this for GANGSTER SQUAD. Saw this in the theater and fell in love with the lighting right away.
59:45 American Made it´s another POV of the same story/era, like the movie: Blow (2001) "The George Jung Story", http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0221027/
56:21 …George Lucas filmed one StarWars film completly in FullHD CineAlta, and says he regrets doing so, when the New 4K came out. Films if done properly can be scanned at 10K with the Director, FullHD looks like crap in Big Screens, similar to 4p vs 3p vs 2perf but worse.
It would be nice to see more of these videos. Earlier, Cinematography Database also made breakdowns like this but he doesn't do more of them so it was nice to see.
